The newly revised Company Law promulgated at the end of last year will come into effect on July 1, 2024, which is expected to have a significant and profound impact on the entire life cycle of various types of companies. This memo briefly introduces the major changes in the new Company Law from eight aspects from the perspectives of startups and their founders and analyzes the impact of such changes as well as the corresponding measures the enterprises may consider taking, in a hope to address some common issues and confusions in understanding and application of the new law by startups and their founders (full memo in Chinese only).
